ICL Surgery is ideal for patients with high myopia (-0.5D to -18D), thin corneas, dry eyes, or who are not candidates for LASIK or PRK.

Topical anesthetic drops are applied. A micro-incision of 2.8mm to 3.0mm is made at the edge of the cornea. The foldable ICL lens is injected and positioned behind the iris in front of the natural lens.
Pre-operative anterior chamber depth evaluation, stop contact lens use prior to consultation, fasting as advised.
Rapid recovery within 24 to 48 hours. Most patients achieve 20/20 or better uncorrected vision immediately.
Use prescribed antibiotic and anti-inflammatory eye drops, avoid rubbing eyes, wear protective glasses outdoors for one week.
Mild glare or halos around lights at night, rare risk of increased intraocular pressure, infection, or cataract formation.
